Russell Quirk, CEO and Founder of Emoov, started the business in 2010. After running a traditional estate agency chain, Russell believed he could provide better and cheaper service online as office footfall was relatively low, and most people asked for details online. As a result, Emoov flourished and surpassed the £1 billion property sales mark. Sadly in December 2018, Emoov went into liquidation, citing financial difficulties. They relaunched in January 2019 under the ownership and guidance of the Mashroom team.
